Co-Brand site for The Cheltenham Ladies' College theatre and arts centre in the centre of Cheltenham.
Brief
Managed by a separate arts centre team with its own unique identity, should feel familiar to the main College identity, while being as easy to edit and maintain.
Should promote productions, and provide seamless way for visitors to purchase tickets and choose seats for shows.
Infrastructure
Created in 2014, development started life from a foundation of Silverstripe CMS using the College's main site as a core template, further details on how the core template was created are available on the Core Project page.
Visual updates to the template set the site apart from the core CLC brand.
Page templates allow the events team the ability to create content with no technical experience, setting ticket prices, seat numbers and event slots/dates. Events, were then created automatically populated the ticketing system via an API call to the booking system (Spetrix).
Events pages embedded the Spetrix UI via an iFrame so visitors could purchase tickets for the event, and view seat allocations, view from the seat. Purchasing was handled directly via Spetrix with a Worldpay integration.
Visitors could print or generate e-tickets to check in for events.
